Diamond and sapphire ring, early 20th century. This classic five-stone ring is set with a well-matched sequence of deep blue sapphires and circular-cut diamonds, the junctions between three stones cleverly filled with tiny rose diamonds. The metal work is equally well worked in yellow gold, the sides with beautiful hand-cut scrollwork leading into an elegantly tapered band. These versatile rings are substantial enough to work well as a Vintage Engagement Ring, but also sit comfortably alongside others as part of a ring stack.
