  • Art-Deco-Pink-Sapphire-Diamond-Engagement-Platinum-18ct-White-Gold-Vintage

Pink Sapphire & Diamond Engagement Ring, 18ct White Gold, Vintage

An oval pink sapphire and diamond engagement ring set in 18ct white gold. A swirl of diamonds encircles a rose-pink sapphire in this beautiful ring, which is packed with details that maximise the impact of its dreamy central stone. Held safely in place by four tapering claws, light floods into this sapphire from all angles thanks to its clever setting, which is pierced at the reverse with quatrefoil shapes to achieve a wonderful lightness and delicacy to the design, balancing a contemporary feel with a slightly Art Nouveau sense of natural asymmetry and flowing movement. A wonderful choice for an engagement ring.  Please view the technical details below. • Belle-Époque-Peach-Stone-Diamond-18-Carat-Gold-Cluster-Ring-Vintage

Belle Époque, 18ct Gold, Peach Stone and Diamond Cluster Ring

This Belle Époque piece is such a pretty ring, and quite rare. Synthetic gemstones were at the cutting-edge of scientific lab research and development. The ability to produce a sapphire in laboratory enabled jewellers to source the perfect gemstone; displaying magical colours such as the centre sapphire in this cluster ring. The peach stone is undeniably charming, and such a beautiful colour, the pink and orange notes combine with the gold band are reminiscent of a sunset. I love the design which incorporates the use of repetition using the smaller daisy-shaped diamonds to mirror the overall shape of the ring. A very unique ring, it would make a wonderful dress piece or engagement ring. Please view the technical details below. Pink Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring, 18ct White Gold

"This generously sized cushion cut sapphire is hugged by a cluster of glittery diamonds, that lend their sparkle and brilliance to the overall lustre of this Vintage Ring. The 18 carat white gold undercarriage of this ring mirrors the pattern of the stones and is cut with semblance to a flower. The fuchsia pink sapphire is delicately complimented by the surrounding diamonds, while the diamond's subtle blush tones are simultaneously enhanced by the pink hue of the sapphire. The romantic detail, and delicate design is indicative of the Victorian Era- where flower-esque rings flourished in popularity. • Art-Deco-Saddle-Ring-Pink-Sapphire-Diamond-Millegrain-Antique

Art Deco, French, Platinum, Pink Sapphire and Diamond Ring

"Here we have a pink sapphire and diamond ring, circa 1925. Sri Lanka is the most historically famous source of sapphires, and was colloquially known as the ‘Island of Gems’. This 3.45 carat unheated Sri Lankan Sapphire displays a floral purplish-pink body colour, and takes centre stage within this lavish early 20th century saddle-shaped mount, millegrain-set with nearly 3 carats of antique circular-cut diamonds. This vintage ring is an incredible demonstration of French craftsmanship of the period. It’s a huge statement piece, it looks amazing on the hand. The sapphire sits centre of this fantastic ring." ~Caring for Sapphire Jewellery ~  Accompanied by GCS report no. 79221-88, stating that the sapphire weighing 3.45 carats is of Sri Lankan origin, with no indications of heat treatment. • Double-Heart-Victorian-Burmese-Ring-Pink-Sapphire-Engagement-Antique

Antique | Victorian, Burmese Pink Sapphire Double Heart Engagement Ring

"This rare and charming  antique ring is designed as two hearts beneath a crown, it is set with a pair of pink sapphires of exceptional quality that display the rich, saturated pink body colour for which Burmese stones are famed. The motif of paired hearts is an obviously romantic image, with its origins in Renaissance Europe. The paired hearts symbolise a couple in love, the crown above them symbolic of their fidelity to one another. Set with glittering rose diamonds, this ring is a particularly beautiful example of this very traditional motif, and a truly rare survival of its type."
