Provenance
Made in 1913, this late Edwardian cluster ring has such delicate and dainty proportions. The head of the ring is formed by a diamond daisy cluster, set to centre with a slightly larger round transitional-cut diamond, surrounded by a halo of old-cut diamonds surrounded by a rub-over setting.
The shoulders are so beautiful, formed by hand-craved gold open-work featuring scrolling heart-motifs and coiled volutes. The gallery features very refined scalloped detail, evoking the gentle curves of a flower's petals. The solid 18ct yellow gold band has a pleasing width to it, making the ring even more comfortable to wear.
