Antique, Edwardian, 18ct Gold, Natural ‘Cornflower’ Ceylon Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring

    Description

This ring is sold, sorry. See similar rings:

Sapphire and diamond ring, circa 1900. This beautiful sapphire and diamond cluster is claw-set with an untreated Sri Lankan sapphire of beautiful limpidity and a lovely sky blue tone. Unusually, it is surrounded by rose-cut diamonds, which reflect the light beautifully from their angled top facets, and were possibly taken from an even earlier jewel. The unusual use of rose diamonds and the attractiveness of the sapphire’s colour make this a slightly different take on the classic sapphire and diamond cluster, perfect for an Antique Engagement Ring.
