This ring is set with a 3.2 carat sapphire of a very unusual and attractive colour - a vivid purplish-pink, the colour of lilacs. The designer of this ring was clearly clever enough to realise that with a stone like this at its centre, the ring needed nothing else, other than a lovely 15 carat yellow gold mount to show it off. Sometimes, it pays to keep things simple."
