Diamond ring, early 20th century. This diamond ring is claw-set with two circular-cut diamonds, the shoulders set with charmingly irregular cushion-shaped diamonds. This arrangement of two stones in a crossover design is popularly known as ‘toi et moi’, or ‘you and me’, and represents the meeting of two lovers.
