Description
Emerald and diamond three-stone ring. Colombia has been the source of the world’s best emeralds for thousands of years, but production was relatively localised until the 16th century. Colombian emeralds form differently from emeralds found in other deposits, and as a result produce stones of particularly vivid colour and distinctive, beautiful patterns of inclusions. These well-matched Colombian emeralds are a fresh, light green, with excellent clarity and only minor traditional clarity enhancement with oil. The traditional three stone design groups these well-matched emeralds together to create a band of colour across the finger, accented with brilliant-cut diamonds and set in buttery yellow gold, with hand-chased scroll work at the sides.
