Diamond set snake ring, circa 1890. Set with a bright old mine-cut diamond to the head of the snake with two further diamonds set to resemble eyes, this whimsical ring is both charming and practical to wear. The ring covers the finger like a snake coiling around a tree branch, it’s an incredibly effective piece. It is quite heavy and beautifully made, it feels very comfortable to wear. The large diamond is bright and clean, it has a wonderful soft sparkle synonymous with old-cut gems. It’s a wonderful statement ring.
