"Pink topaz is a historic and extremely attractive stone, which was hugely popular in the 18th and early 19th century despite its rarity, spurred on by discoveries of mineral deposits in Brazil and Russia. More commonly found in pre-19th century jewels, this is a rare example of a late 19th century jewel set with this beautiful stone. This ring centres on a pink topaz in a particularly attractive hue, almost magenta, in a beautifully proportioned oval cut. Set with a spangle of claw-set antique cushion-shaped diamonds at each side and mounted in warm yellow gold, this ring is full of personality and style, with an exceptionally pretty stone at its heart."
Why I love it...
“ This is a fabulous little ring. It has a lot of charm and character. The topaz is a beautiful shade of pink and the trio of diamonds adds a touch of sparkle. The lovely rosey gold setting is heavy and feels wonderful to the touch.”
