Description
A polished chrysoprase is set in a 14ct gold band that decoratively frames the emerald-cut stone. A bridge is worked into the main setting to gently elevate the stone, allowing light to pass under and illuminate it. Tapered shoulders join the ornate setting and simple band and stabilise the central stone, also visually balancing the substantial mount and simple band.

14ct yellow gold. Marked: '585' in an oak leaf motif ; hallmark of the Netherlands from 1953 onwards. Plus, '14K' and another indistinguishable mark: possibly 'A22'.

Condition and Wear:
Excellent. Chrysoprase safely set with the mount with gold fully covering the entire stone. There are no marks that we feel necessary to mention, no chips. The ring is in exceptional overall condition. No chips, cracks or heavy scratches to the gold.
