Description
This ring is sold, sorry. See similar rings:
The elongated shape of this ring echoes the popular ‘navette’ shape of the 18th and 19th centuries, but that asymmetrical flourish at its centre hints at a later artistic movement: Art Nouveau. Art Nouveau designs emphasised the asymmetry of natural forms with extravagant, swooping lines, and it’s that little detail that gives the ring its sinuous appeal, placing it beautifully within those creative years at the turn of the 20th century. Set with a lovely purplish oval ruby at its centre and embellished with an array of antique circular- and rose-cut diamonds, this ring is full of charm and romance, and would make a wonderful addition to any antique lover’s jewellery collection.

I love the diamond shoulders and the little splash of colour from the ruby.
