Provenance
Crafted in our own workshop using traditional techniques, this beautiful ring has been thoughtfully designed to be cherished for a lifetime. This is a particularly special and unique piece, featuring not one, but two cushion old-mine cut diamonds, both with a rosy cognac-brown colour. These flanking diamonds were cut at a much earlier date than the ring itself, likely the 1800s when they would have been cut by hand under candlelight. They both have the most charming cushion outline, deep proportions and soft romantic glow to them.
At the centre sits a natural marquise-cut diamond of exceptional quality. Certified VVS2 its clarity is remarkable and it has an ever-so-subtle warmth to it which perfectly compliments the two antique diamonds it sits between.
All three diamonds are claw-set in open-back settings above a linear pierced gallery, leading to shoulders which flow elegantly to a solid gold D-shape shank. The yellow gold is 14ct - our favourite alloy for its durability and soft tone - and the ring has been hallmarked at Sheffield Assay Office.
Preserving heritage by keeping traditional techniques and tastes alive.
