Description
Emerald and diamond ring, circa 1920. Pear-shaped stones in rings can be worn either way round - the sharp end pointing downwards towards the tip of the finger or up towards the knuckle. Either way, they are very stylish and flattering choices for engagement rings, and seem to elongate the finger. This pear-shaped emerald shows an attractive shade of summery mid green, with excellent transparency. Finished with a border of early 20th century circular-cut diamonds, this beautiful design would make a particularly pretty and elegant engagement ring.
