18th century, gold signet ring from England, circa 1790. An impressive heavy gold signet ring, the central square plaque is engraved with an elaborate letter ‘M’ and framed by incised beaded edging. The ornate engraved decoration continues underneath the central gold plaque to the shank. It is a great statement piece, it’s bold and the colour of the gold is very attractive to the eye. It’s a true piece of English history.
