Art Deco, onyx and diamond cocktail ring, circa 1920. A wonderful kite-shaped onyx features a double row cluster of old-cut diamonds, all set in platinum. The ring is beautifully made, the attention to detail exquisite; the gallery (underneath setting) is all pierced platinum displaying a scrolling motif. The shank is detailed with an equally skilful design, it is hand engraved with a repeating floral motif with three little diamonds at the top to compliment the centre diamond cluster. This ring has a true sense of showmanship; boasting both quality and design in equal measure. It really does look amazing on the hand, a great statement.
Why I love it...
“ The beautiful diamond shape plaque is the perfect platform to set such a magnificent cluster of diamonds! ”
