To find out more about the gemstones in this ring:
Provenance
Original to c.1925 this is the most fabulous Art Deco aquamarine cocktail ring we've ever had! Set to centre, with a natural Aquamarine with the most luminous and intense sky-blue colour imaginable. Quite literally crystal clear and cut as a perfectly rectangular step-cut this is such an exceptional gemstone. Surrounded by a rub-over setting finished with delicate millegrain edging.
Surrounded by a rectangular cluster design of round transitional-cut diamonds, each perfectly matched in colour and clarity. Grain-set and surrounded by further millegrain edge borders. The gallery is exquisite with large stylised scrolling motifs that spiral in opposing directions. The shoulders are solid but with very pretty engraved detaill and each further set with three tiny single-cut diamonds. The shoulders smoothly taper to form a solid platinum shank.
