Description
The square setting of this ring is set with hand-cut cushion-shaped diamonds surrounding a square step-cut sapphire, its geometric facets showcasing its beautifully saturated deep blue. The borders are dotted using the 'millegrain' technique, which softens the metallic sheen of the new platinum settings. As this ring shows, when combined with the brilliance of the diamonds, the effect is a soft white shimmer – the perfect counterbalance to the cool blues of the central stone. With its scalloped edges and its overall delicateness of design, this is a supremely elegant choice for an engagement ring.
