Provenance
Made in Austria in 1959, this tourmaline cluster ring has a presence like no other. Set to centre with a green tourmaline, known as verdelite, with a particularly attractive emerald-green colour. Weighing approximately 10ct, this large stone has great clarity and light passes through it beautifully. Emerald-cut and claw-set in an open-back setting surrounded by a halo of round brilliant-cut diamonds with a combined weight of 1.12ct.
The gallery features linear open-work and the shoulders are solid, flowing through to a D-shape 18ct white gold band. The proportions of this ring offer such a striking and bold look, but yet the colour of the tourmaline makes it feel effortlessly classy.
