Description
This Belle Époque ring is exceptionally unique. Set vertically are two principle diamonds, estimating to 0.3ct each. The openwork setting extends above and below the diamonds, providing a lustrous diamond-set skirting for each segment. Creating separation between the different elements is the millegrain detailed border. Allowing light to dance around the different stones and sections, the use of negative space is both beautiful and practical. Nestled in between the diamonds is a 0.25ct ruby of exceptional saturation. Two half-clusters of rose-cut diamonds border the ruby on either side. The scalloped edges are flanked by diamonds and lead down to the 18ct yellow gold band which beautifully contrasts with the white gold face while bringing out the warm tones in the ruby.
