Vintage Cartier, Enamel and Green Garnet Panthère Ring, 18ct Yellow Gold

    The panther is one of Cartier’s most revered designs. Starting life in abstract form, as early as the 1920s, they were not depicted directly, but rather alluded to through polished onyx set against diamonds in semblance of their spotted coats. When Cartier’s major clients such as the Duchess of Windsor and Barbara Hutton started commissioning figurative designs of these creatures, however, Cartier’s ‘Panthère’ collection was born. This ring is a particularly innovative depiction, which shows Cartier’s inventiveness over the years. A pierced disk is applied with black enamel which forms the iconic feline motif, a pear-shaped green garnet eye bringing it to life. A supremely stylish take on one of Cartier’s all-time design classics.

        Most of our rings can be resized unless stated otherwise in the item description. Simply add your required size in the notes section at checkout, and our team will take care of the rest!

        Please allow an additional 5 to 10 working days to the delivery time. If you require your order for a particular date, please get in touch as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate.

        You can purchase the ring and then return if for resizing if needed - if you buy an engagement ring, for instance, but it is not quite the right size for your partner. There is no additional charge for this but the buyer is responsible for the return postage and insurance.

        UK orders are shipped via Royal Mail Special Delivery, the working day after the payment has cleared. Please allow 1-2 business days for your order to arrive.

        Yes, we provide free international express shipping on all online orders via FedEx or DHL, the working day after the payment has cleared. Local taxes and duties may apply.
