Pink sapphires are chemically identical to rubies and take their colour from the same element - chromium. This cushion-shaped pink sapphire, of particularly good clarity and a beautiful floral colour, is set within an antique 19th century mount designed as a crowned flower, like an orchid, set with cushion-shaped diamonds and accented with tiny rose-cut diamonds, which add a glint of light between the settings. A distinctive and highly attractive antique ring, beautifully designed, and an utterly charming choice for an engagement ring.
