Description
Emerald and diamond ring, circa 1920. The shape of this ring is built entirely around its central stone - an emerald displaying a particularly rich, saturated green. With a very fine yellow gold border for contrast, the rest of the ring is set with a glittering double border of antique cushion-shaped diamonds, each corner boosted by a larger circular-cut diamond. A beautiful early 20th century design, fully in the thrall of Art Deco - every bit as stylish then as it is now, what an incredible Art Deco ring!
