Provenance
An original Asprey piece dating to the 1970s, this ruby and diamond cocktail ring is nothing short of spectacular. Set to centre with a natural ruby, cabochon-cut and boasting the richest shade of pomegranite red. Rub-over set in an open-back setting with ridge detail.
Immediately surrounded by an inner cluster of tapered step-cut diamonds, each precisely cut to form a seamless halo around the centre stone. The tapered diamonds are channel-set in perfect tension with one another. Further encircled by a polished edge. To a bombe design, broad tapering shoulders pave-set with round brilliant-cut diamonds, meticulously matched in colour and clarity.
