Provenance

Originating from the United Kingdom, this piece dates to c.1964. Set to centre with a natural ruby of approximately 0.53ct. It has a playful, saturated pinkish-red colour that catches the eye from a mile away! Flanked by two round brilliant-cut diamonds with a combined weight of 0.42ct, to a daintily proportioned three-stone ring design. All three stones are claw set in open-back settings with a raised gallery pierced with a geometric design. The shoulders are gently raised and are decorated with curved scalloped detail, leading to a solid 18ct yellow gold band.

Whilst made in 1964, this ring draws its inspiration from the Edwardian era when delicate three-stone rings were the go-to style for engagement rings. The high profile of this ring allows a modern wedding band to be worn alongside it seamlessly and very comfortably. The perfect ring for those after a traditional style of ring but with a unique pop of colour!
