Provenance
Made in the 1950s, this is a showstopper of a ring. The natural Ceylon sapphire weighs an incredible 19ct and is unheated. It has the perfect shade of yellow - just the right balance between canary yellow and soft sunshine. The clarity is remarkable given the huge size of the the stone, and its gentle oval outline compliments the warmth of the sapphire. It quite literally seems to glow as though the sunshine genuinely has been trapped within it.
Claw-set with double-prong detail above a stunning gallery which features intricate openwork, delicately pierced with a decorative design. The height of the gallery means that sunlight is able to remain flooded behind the sapphire for as long as possible, further enhancing its luminosity. The shoulders are just as splendid and trumpet, adorned with filigree style open-work to match the gallery, tapering to form a solid D-shape shank.

We provide free express shipping on all online orders.
For UK orders, orders are shipped via Royal Mail Special Delivery, the working day after the payment has cleared. Please allow 1-2 business days for your order to arrive.
For orders from all other countries, orders are shipped via FedEx or DHL, the working day after the payment has cleared. Please allow 4-5 business days for your order to arrive.
Both UK and international shipments are fully tracked and traceable and require a signature from customers upon receipt.
For all orders shipped to the U.S., we cover international tariffs and duties, so you won’t need to worry about them - they are included in the price on the website.
If you wish to return a ring, we offer a full refund minus the cost of these tariffs: 10% for antique rings (over 100 years old) and 15.5% for other pieces.
