Provenance

Original to c.1880, this double heart ring is a very special testament to the Victorian era's sentimentalism and symbolism. Set with two drop-shaped natural turquoise cabochons, each framed by a heart-shaped cluster of cushion shaped old-mine cut diamonds. The hearts overlap, as though eternally entwined. A ribbon like motif crowns the pair of hearts and is further set with old-mine cut diamonds and features delicately crafted open-work that gives the bow a sense of movement and realism.

The shoulders feature engraved ridge detail which continues to flow into the solid gold band.
