Natural pearl and diamond ring, circa 1910. Natural pearls are very rare, and finding each one is down to pure luck. Finding one of good lustre, of substantial size and regular shape is even rarer, and finding a pair can take years of searching. The two beautiful drop-shaped pearls in this ring are perfect for each other - each with a creamy white body colour and a bright white lustre. This Edwardian ring brings theem together in a distinctive crossover design known as ‘toi-et-moi’, or ‘you-and-me’, a fittingly romantic setting for such perfect partners.
