This Victorian snake ring is spectacular. They heightened in popularity after Prince Albert gifted her one with an emerald embedded into it for their engagement. Victorians then began to see the snake motif as a symbol of eternal love. This snake ring has a natural patina around the head and two diamond eyes, adding to the charm and opulence of this statement antique ring. I absolutely love this 18ct yellow gold snake ring. The jeweller was really creative here, it's so amusing how the snake's coils wrap around the finger, leaving the head to rest on top. The diamond-set eyes are a very dazzling touch! This is such an amazing contemporary piece and would make a really interesting present! It would look amazing worn stacked with other rings, the snake hidden away amongst other rings- similar to how they are in nature!
