Provenance
Made during the 1960s, this stunning cluster engagement ring is set to centre with a large pink sapphire with the most exceptional cherry blossom hue! Cushion-cut and boasting high clarity, the stone is secured by a rub-over setting finished with fine millegrain edge detail.
Surrounded by a cluster of thirteen cushion old-mine cut diamonds. These antique diamonds were each hand-cut well over a century ago and they show the charming soft glow for which old cut diamonds are so loved for. Grain-set and bordered by a polished edge.
The gallery is intricately pierced with an unusual foliate motif and sits very low in profile, ensuring comfortable and practical wear. The shoulders are open with chenier detail, a ridge that then flows into a solid 18ct white gold band.
