Why you should buy antique

  • Antique rings are the ethical and sustainable choice - avoiding the environmental damage from mining new metals or gems.
  • Antique rings don’t have to be expensive - we have a range of price points from affordable rings under £1,000 all the way up to rings worth £20,000 or more.
  • There are different periods to choose from, depending on the look you love best - from romantic Georgian designs to the modern geometry or Art Deco.
  • Designs are unique. In the past, before the advent of mass jewellery-producing companies, antique rings were often bespoke miniature works of art. Each piece was expertly designed by hand with exquisite craftsmanship.

Who Are We?

Sam, the founder of The Antique Ring Boutique, has a background in fine art. He became entranced by the world of jewellery after beginning a job at Liberty London. The roots of his newfound passion are what led him to launch The Antique Ring Boutique. Sam was quickly welcomed as the youngest member of Lapada (The Association of Art and Antiques Dealers) and has since been an avid treasure hunter. Quality over quantity is one of ARB’s core values, it is for this reason that Sam searches far and wide- handpicking pieces, carefully assessing each one to ensure it meets the mark.

Every aspect of the company is subject to great attention to detail, from buying, to jewellery testing, to photographing and selling. Simply nothing goes amiss, Sam is present every step of the way. No discrepancies go unflagged, nor gemstones unchecked. You can be confident that the piece you choose is of the utmost quality, and has been authenticated diligently by Sam and trusted industry experts.

What we sell

The main part of our collection is authentic antique rings - rings more than 100 years old from the Edwardian, Victorian and Georgian eras, as well as Belle Epoque and Art Nouveau pieces.

We also sell genuine vintage rings - those between 50 and 100 years old. Most Art Deco rings fall into this category, although early pieces now qualify as antique. We also have a small collection of more recent vintage rings from the 1950s to 1980s.

Finally, we offer bespoke designs using original antique gems, but reimagined in modern settings. This allows us to reuse jewels from rings that are too damaged to be repairable, or where substantial later alterations have been made.
