Provenance

Original to c.1905, this Edwardian emerald and diamond three-stone ring is truly unique. The natural emerald is of remarkable clarity, displaying an even, verdant green hue - bright enough to catch the eye, yet soft enough to not overpower the ring's delicate design. Flanked by two old-cut diamonds claw set diagonally to a unique ‘tourbillon’ style with sinuous gold openwork that effortlessly leads to a solid 18ct yellow gold shank. This ring reflects the aesthetics of the contemporaneous Art Nouveau movement which celebrated nature and the fluidity of the ‘free line’.
