Provenance
Original to c.1910, this stunning Edwardian era three-stone engagement ring is set to centre with a fancy coloured old-cut diamond with the most delicate syrup-like brown hue. Claw-set in an open-back setting and flanked by two round old-cut diamonds each perfectly matched in colour, clarity and scale. The flanking diamonds are notably smaller than the central stone and their white brilliance really helps bring out the fire of the brown diamond.
The gallery sits pleasingly low in profile and is intricately pierced with a delicate open-work design. The collet features refined engraved ridge detail and the shoulders drop to seamlessly flow into a solid D-shape shank.
