Provenance
Original to c.1920, this Art Deco emerald and round old-cut diamond three stone is stunning. Set to centre with a natural emerald displaying a delicate light green with a minty, cool toned hue. Claw-set in an open-back setting, with an approximate weight of 0.27ct. Delicate, moss-like feathers drift through the stone, known poetically as jardin (French for 'garden'), each emerald encloses its own miniature world. Flanked by two round old-cut diamonds, perfectly matched in colour and clarity. These antique hand-cut stones are known for their soft and romantic glow as opposed to the harsh brilliance of modern laser-cut diamonds. The gallery sits nice and low making for everyday love and wear as an engagement ring. The shoulders are very slightly raised and feature chenier details, to a solid 18ct white gold shank. Beautifully made and timelessly elegant, this really is the perfect ring.
