Provenance
Original to c.1930, this Art Deco cocktail ring features a citrine which is as strikingly large as it is lively. Weighing over 6ct and remarkably clear, this citrine quite literally looks like liquid gold. It displays a vibrant tangerine hue, alive with flickers of sunflower yellow, burnished amber and deep honeyed tones that dance within the stone as it moves. Claw-set in an open-back mount, light is allowed to gather beneath the citrine, enhancing its natural radiance and giving it a sunlit, glowing luminosity.
The gallery is beautifully tiered, with refined ridged detailing and polished surfaces, finished with delicate millegrain edging. Beneath this lies an extraordinary and highly unusual openwork design. Coiling spirals unfurl from one another, reminiscent of waves rolling onto the shore. It immediately calls to mind the iconic, gilded spirals of Gustav Klimt’s work, a comparison that seems fitting for such a golden glowing gemstone.
The shoulders are elegantly split and seamlessly flow from the two platinum claws securing each side of the citrine. They taper and feature a raised geometric design, grain-set with tiny single-cut diamonds. To a solid platinum shank that features fluting detail and the most intricate engraved scrolls and dots along the side of the band. I love all the subtle secret details of this ring that are only to be enjoyed by the wearer - this feels like a very special ring.

A small number of rings cannot be resized due to their material or design; this will always be clearly noted in the product description.
We provide free express shipping on all online orders.
For UK orders, orders are shipped via Royal Mail Special Delivery, the working day after the payment has cleared. Please allow 1-2 business days for your order to arrive.
For orders from all other countries, orders are shipped via FedEx or DHL, the working day after the payment has cleared. Please allow 4-5 business days for your order to arrive.
Both UK and international shipments are fully tracked and traceable and require a signature from customers upon receipt.
For all orders shipped to the U.S., we cover international tariffs and duties, so you won’t need to worry about them - they are included in the price on the website.
If you wish to return a ring, we offer a full refund minus the cost of these tariffs: 10% for antique rings (over 100 years old) and 15.5% for other pieces.
