Antique, Art Deco zircon and diamond ring

Provenance
Original to c.1925, this Art Deco ring is set to centre with a stunning natural blue zircon with the most stunning aqua-hue. Baguette-cut with a bright and lively hall-of-mirrors effect and claw-set in an open-back setting. Flanked by baguette cut diamonds in smooth rub-over settings, two in total.
The shoulders of this ring are particularly fine, each set with three round transitional cut diamonds in grain settings, bordered by a millegrain edge. The gallery is intricately pierced with a geometric linear design that recalls contemporaneous architectural styles. The shoulders are open with chenier detail, terminating at an engraved ridge detail before flowing through to a solid platinum D-shape shank.
This ring is the epitome of Art Deco chic but with a bold pop of colour that makes it feel strikingly modern!

- Hallmarks: Marked with 'PT' to indicate platinum, further marked with maker's mark 'A&W', for Birmingham based jewellers Atkin & Wigley. Further marked with historical inventory number '45957'.

- General Wear: Excellent; wear commensurate with age.
- Condition: All stone(s) secure, safely set and fully covered with the metal. No damage to the setting, minor scratches due to age, recently polished and checked by our workshop.

A small number of rings cannot be resized due to their material or design; this will always be clearly noted in the product description.
We provide free express shipping on all online orders.
For UK orders, orders are shipped via Royal Mail Special Delivery, the working day after the payment has cleared. Please allow 1-2 business days for your order to arrive.
For orders from all other countries, orders are shipped via FedEx or DHL, the working day after the payment has cleared. Please allow 4-5 business days for your order to arrive.
Both UK and international shipments are fully tracked and traceable and require a signature from customers upon receipt.
For all orders shipped to the U.S., we cover international tariffs and duties, so you won’t need to worry about them - they are included in the price on the website.
If you wish to return a ring, we offer a full refund minus the cost of these tariffs: 10% for antique rings (over 100 years old) and 15.5% for other pieces.
