Provenance

Made during the 1970s, this impressive cluster ring centres on a large natural topaz with a delicate apricot hue. Weighing 7.50ct, the topaz has amazing clarity and pleasingly deep proportions. Oval-cut and claw-set in an open-back setting. Surrounded by a cluster of eighteen round brilliant-cut diamonds, each perfectly matched in colour and clarity. The gallery is intricately pierced, echoing similar Edwardian era cluster rings. The shoulders are exceptional, of split design and terminating with refined scroll motifs, they elegantly taper to a solid yellow gold D-shape shank.
