Provenance

Made in 1963, this 18ct yellow gold signet ring bears the initials 'D.h.c', finely hand- engraved in old gothic script. The head of the ring takes the form of a shield, suitably evoking a heraldic emblem. The shoulders taper and feature an indentation with engraved scrolling motifs. The ring has a substantial presence and weight to it and would be the perfect everyday signet ring for a gentleman.

The Band

  • Metal Composition: 18ct yellow gold.
  • Hallmarks: Marked with hallmarks that trace the ring to London, 1963. Further marked with '18' to indicate 18ct yellow gold and an indistinct maker's mark.

The Ring Overall

  • Front Head Dimensions: Length 13.8mm; Width 21mm
  • Height of Setting: 1.2mm

General Wear & Condition

  • Excellent: all stones are secure and well set, with no damage to the mount. Professionally polished and carefully inspected by our workshop, ready to wear and enjoy.

Unless stated otherwise, gem weights and specifications are estimated (assessed in mount).
