An antique Victorian ring, set with a row of five cushion-cut garnets that graduate in size towards the centre stone. Claw-set, the largest central garnet weighs 0.47 carats while the smallest garnets weigh 0.19 carats each. The row of garnets amount to a combined weight of 1.50 carats. The half hoop ring is finished with a traditional Victorian scrolled shoulders and a decorative gold-work gallery. Tested 15ct yellow gold, circa 1880.
