To find out more about the gemstones in this ring:

A compelling 4 carat Ceylon sapphire boasting impressive blue tones that are the signature of a sapphire from that region. The setting measures up to the gemstone well and is a true show of French craftsmanship. Gold prongs reach up from all angles to secure the impressive gemstone- tapering as they near the sapphire, leaving an impression of effortlessness while also forming the face of the ring. They are set with old-rose cut diamonds that amount to a combined weight of 0.45 carats, a perfect finishing touch. Tested 18ct yellow and rose gold, circa 1940.
