Provenance

The ring itself is an original late Edwardian era 16ct yellow gold mount with incredible open shoulders split four-ways. This style of ring was a variety of gypsy ring, which was a design popular from the late Victorian period and throughout the early 20th century.

Our workshop have set a natural fancy yellow diamond with the perfect pear-cut that fits into the antique mount like they were always meant to be! The shade of yellow is perfect and the diamond is so bright and brilliant!

The open-work shoulders taper nicely to a solid gold band. We love the chunky, antique character of this ring - it truly is one of a kind!
