Provenance

Original to c.1905, this Art Nouveau cluster ring is a testament to the exceptional craftsmanship and creativity of early 20th century craftsmanship. Set to centre with a round old-cut diamond in a rub-over setting finished with millegrain edge detail. Set directly above and below by a further two round old-cut diamonds, carefully graduated in size up the finger.

Surrounded by refined open-work inspired by filigree design, a marquise-shape cluster with ornate scrolling motifs, further set with single-cut diamonds, all grain-set and bordered by millegraini edges. The shoulders are comprised of five single-cut diamonds, all rub-over set, from which delicate linear open-work springs, tapering to a diamond-set base. The shoulders flow to a solid 18ct yellow gold band that features subtle fluting detail.
