Provenance
Made in c.1935, this ruby and rose-cut diamond ring is remarkable, with the most amazing natural Burmese ruby weighing 4.66ct. The colour of the ruby is like no other, vivid, lively and intense - it literally glows. Cushion-cut, it has pleasingly deep proportions. Claw-set in an open-back setting, leading to shoulders with twisting open-work set with rose-cut diamonds in grain-settings. On a white gold band.
