Provenance
Original to c.1930, this Art Deco cocktail ring features an incredible natural aquamarine, cushion-cut and displaying a deep and intense sky blue colour. It's deep proportions help accentuate its hue and it has exceptional clarity. Claw-set in an open-back setting, flanked by diamond-set shoulders in the form of stylised bows.
The shoulders are designed as ribbons, set with round transitional-cut diamonds, grain-set in platinum and bordered by polished edges. The gallery features beautifully crafted open-work with scrolling motifs that intertwine and coil. The shoulders are very lightly open, dropping down to a solid shank which comfortably conforms to the finger.
