Provenance

Original to c.1890, this Victorian gypsy ring is set to centre with an old-mine cut diamond, grain-set in an open-back setting, framed by a hand-engraved star motif. The diamond has a gorgeous elongated cushion outline characteristic of this early diamond cut and set against the buttery 18ct yellow gold it displays a very charming glow and warmth. Set in flush with a broad 18ct yellow gold shank, round and conforming to the finger, tapering to a solid D-shape shank.
