Provenance
Made in France during the 1970s, this vintage gypsy ring is exceptional. Set to centre with a peruzzi cut diamond - an early diamond cut that originates from Venice during the 17th century. Characterised by its distinctive squarish outline and large culet, peruzzi diamonds are extremely rare today and highly collectable. Rub-over set and flanked by two cushion old-mine cut diamonds.
All three diamonds have a warm glow to them which is accentuated by the 18ct yellow gold they are mounted in. The gallery is closed and the ring has a geometric finesse to it. The shoulders are solid and drop down to flow seamlessly to a solid gold band. Bearing French hallmarks on the exterior of the band.

- Total Diamond Weight: 3ct; One peruzzi-cut diamond, two cushion old-mine cut diamonds.

- Metal Composition: 18ct yellow gold.
- Hallmarks: Marked on the exterior of the band with the French hallmark for 18ct yellow gold, an eagle's head. Further marked with a maker's mark that we have been unable to trace further.
