This antique half-hoop ring features five spirited spinels with an estimated total weight of 1.85ct. Graduating in size, the stones are a compelling mixture of intense pink tones, all completely natural and free of any treatment. The undulating carved gallery cleverly forms the claws that hold the stones securely in place. Half-hoop or five-stone rings are an increasingly popular design, especially original Victorian examples, because of their wearability and versatility - a definite favourite for those who enjoy pairing rings and stacked styles. This particular half hoop is rare as it is unusually set with spinels.
