This fantastic three-stone ruby and diamond ring is a tour-de-force of Belle Epoque jewellery design. This curved bombé ring shows how beautifully platinum can be worked - it is constructed out of stylised ivy leaves, the open work construction and millegrain borders give the design a lightness that doesn't overshadow the beauty of stones. With an unheated vivid Thai red ruby at its centre, two well-matched antique Old European cut diamonds at each side, and scattering of smaller diamonds across the ivy leaf motifs, this is a true work of art.
