Weighing approximately 19ct, the cushion-cut stone is claw-set in an open-back setting. It has a striking colour change effect - a rare phenomenon whereby a gemstone appears two different colours in two different light sources. \u003cstrong\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn natural daylight, the sapphire boasts the stunning cornflower blue that Ceylon sapphires are so highly prized for. Once indoors under warmer incandescent light, the stone appears a striking purple colour. With every movement of the hand, subtle undertones of blue, violet and pink flicker from within  - a truly magical and unique sapphire, with exceptional clarity too. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFlanked by three diamonds on either side, six in total, which form the shoulders of the ring. Set with two baguette-cut diamonds in rub-over settings, set east-to-west.
