Early 19th century, chrysoprase signet ring, circa 1820. An incredible looking ring, and a rare survival. A beautiful cushion-shape chrysoprase at the centre with a skilful repoussé style gold work surround; a true demonstration of craftsmanship. Further, the split shanks reveals a gold flower and echos the overriding foliate design of the ring. A really special ring.
